After a really early start (4.30 am) we finally arrived at the appartment around 12.30.
It’s really lovely here - the appartment is much bigger than ours in Cardiff and wonderfully light with views right over the hills. There are some wind turbines on the hill overlooking the whole complex that Richard will be pleased to hear have been spinning round since we got here :D
Tried to visit supermarket but got there just as they were shutting for the day, but managed to get enough to be going on with at the supermarket on site (albeit at slightly inflated prices!). It’s amazing what you can do with a few tommies, and onion, pepper and some pasta - I suspect that’ll be one of our basic meals when we’re travelling :)
Lunched at the clubhouse overlooking the golf course - too windy to sit outside unfortunately, but delicous meal all the same.hich
After a drive to check out one of the west coast beaches - still very windy, back for some tea and an early night!
PS. Ed has definately marked his spot on the long ottoman like bit of the sofa - like my lord and master! I’ve not even been allowed to try it for size!!!
